The sports action drama, directed by Muthaiya (a shift from his usual rural action genre), is scheduled to stream on Sun NXT starting October 10th.
The decision for a direct OTT release has surprised many in the industry and among fans, especially as the film's trailer, which showcases Arulnithi as a fierce kick-boxer, has been positively received for its blend of action, emotion, and modern sports drama elements. The digital premiere of 'Rambo' on Sun NXT will give viewers a chance to watch the movie from home just ahead of the Diwali festival, marking a rare instance of Arulnithi missing a theatrical release in 2025.
