Karthi’s highly anticipated spy thriller, Sardar 2, has officially dropped on Amazon Prime Video as of October 1, 2026

Directed by P.S. Mithran, the movie made a quick jump to digital just 21 days after its theatrical run. Karthi returns in his dual roles, but this time he’s facing off against S.J. Suryah, who plays the international underworld villain Black Dagger. The sequel dials up the action from the 2022 original, following RAW agent Vijay as he races to stop a dangerous global biological threat.

You can stream it right now in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada, and Hindi.

Other major titles dropping this week:

• Bethlehem Kudumba Unit (Malayalam): Nivin Pauly and Mamitha Baiju team up for this romantic comedy, hitting JioHotstar on October 2.
• Hi (Tamil): Kavin and Nayanthara's fresh romance drama is already live on ZEE5.
• #Love (Tamil/Telugu): A modern dating rivalry series starring Arjun Das and Aishwarya Lekshmi, dropping on Netflix on October 2.

Sardar 2 is easily the biggest tentpole release this week, so add it to the top of your weekend watchlist.
