Tamil superstar Suriya’s highly anticipated 47th film finally has an official title. Directed by Jithu Madhavan, the upcoming action-comedy has been named Scene, and it is gearing up for a massive worldwide theatrical release this Diwali on November 6, 2026.
A Swagger-Filled Cop Avatar
The makers recently dropped a gripping title teaser that introduced Suriya as Innbaraj, an erratic and ruthless cop. Moving away from the typical "mass hero" police roles, the teaser suggests his character is built around fear, with one line even referring to him as a "psycho".
In a standout moment from the promo, Suriya’s character delivers a chilling dialogue: “Take a good look at my face. To you, I might be the only cop to have ever arrested you. But to me, you are one among the 900-odd criminals I’ve locked up in prison”.
A Stellar Tamil-Malayalam Cast
Scene is already generating massive hype across both Tamil Nadu and Kerala thanks to its unique casting. The film marks the first-ever on-screen pairing of Suriya and Nazriya Nazim. Joining them in pivotal roles are Malayalam cinema's rising star Naslen, alongside veteran actors John Vijay, Anandaraj, and Lal.
